Right-hand drive vehicles are permitted for import from Japan.
The used vehicles imported from Japan are inspected at the time of arrival and a water blasting treatment is done. The vehicles are required to be cleaned of contaminants before shipping them from Japan.
TAXATION
- 5% to 20% of Customs Duty will be imposed on the importation of all used vehicles from Japan.
- 15% of VAGST (Value Added Goods And Services Tax) will be applicable.
